CITIZEN PARTICIPATION

Mark Worley of 26 Huron Street addressed Council on parking in the back parking lot of the Administration building, but was told by Chief Ward he was not allowed to park there any longer because of snow issues. He said he was told by Ward he was just a renter and offered no value to the community, and Worley wanted to know if it was just Ward's view or all the Administration's opinion. Worley's landlord had called a Council member, and Worley was told he can park in the lot, just not for days, but not during snow or funerals. Worley was told the proper procedure for his complaint was to speak to the Mayor, who would talk to the Chief, and the Mayor would then get back to Worley. The Solicitor had legislation drawn up for parking procedures in the Administration parking lot that will be voted on later in the meeting. Worley thanked Council for listening.
